CAPTURING MOMENTS THROUGH THE LENS

I’ve been taking photos professionally since 2016. Portraits are my specialty, but I also enjoy nature and fashion photography. Most of my experience comes from my time as Head of Photography for Platform Magazine from 2018-2020. Since working on Platform, I have pursued freelance photography opportunities taking graduation portraits, professional headshots, family photos, and more.

Graphic Design: Creator + Educator

Graphic Design has been a passion of mine since high school, when I started taking courses at the local community college. Later, while studying Fashion Design at NC State University, I explored applications of graphic design in the clothing industry. I created digital mockups of apparel designs and even experimented with 3-D design software.

Now, I teach graphic design to high school students at a public school in Raleigh, NC. Teaching has brought new depth to my understanding of graphic design, along with being immensely rewarding as I watch my students put the skills I’ve taught them to use.

creating unique apparel

I studied Fashion and Textile Design at NC State University, concentrating specifically on sustainable apparel design, and graduating with a B.S. in 2020.

Custom Accessory design

Recently, I’ve been enjoying creating custom bags using scrap fabric, sourcing materials from upcycling centers such as The Scrap Exchange and Repurposed Goods, as well as from my own scrap collection.

technical sketching

Technical sketching, whether by hand or digitally, is a skill I developed throughout my undergraduate career. Typically, I create technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator, but I have also completed projects that required tedious hand-rendering of technical flats. Below, you can find a sampling of my technical drawings.
